Palatine Hill

 Palatine Hill

Palatine Hill is one of the seven hills of Rome.  It is right beside the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, and Roman Forum.  It is believed that people lived on Palatine Hill as early as 10th Century BC.

The best way to visit Palatine Hill is in conjunction with the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.  I always purchase a Roma Pass to get around Rome, and use my free entrance ticket for the combination Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.  Purchase the combination ticket at this official website:

Before purchasing the Roma Pass, be sure to reserve your entrance to the Colosseum.  Palatine Hill is a spacious outdoor museum that takes quite a bit of time to visit.  If you want to see everything in the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, I'd recommend reserving an entire day.
